I carry a lot of old school hip hop around the 80’s, with a variety of break beats for the 60’s and 70’s. Also a collection of vocal records for scratching in drops and effects, like old time radio shows and old sci-fi records. My crates are an evolving collection of sounds and beats. Nothing like diggin’ for the perfect beat.

Back in the start of the 1980’s I heard a 12” record of “The Official Adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel” and I knew then I wanted to put records together like that! I bought a cheap Radio Shack mixer with some money borrowed from my friend Cowboy and some old turntables from the house, and then it was on. I mastered scratching and cutting. I meet a local club DJ (Gary Miller "DJ Daddy G") that had some 12” records for sell. he wanted to hear what I was doing and taught me beat mixing showed me that I can make money doing private parties, WOW the rest was history. Now I have a mobile DJ business (KNOX VEGAS DJS), but my true passion is mixing in my studio making music, and meeting other DJ’s with the same interest.
