In 2004 I got my inspiration from a commercial done by DJ Qbert, and it went on from there. Started comparing prices and such, desperatly wanting the Technics 1200GLD, but 999.95 wasn't exactly affordable. The thought of being a DJ got pushed to the back of my mind until about '05 when I started looking at CDJ's. The one(s) that I wanted were expensive, specially the Technics SL-DZ1200 and the Numark CDX. But the way people were talking about the CDX I steered away from it, and I actually demo'd it at best buy a few weeks ago, pretty nice, itd be better if the display was LCD tho xD. My mom had a Gala last year and the DJ, which was supposed to be me, said that vinyl was obsolete, which led me to start a thread at djforums.com, proving that it wasn't, but she didn't wanna here it. Same guy was back this year, told my dad something like that. On 8-04-07 me and my dad went to Guitar center and bought the Numark Battle Pack, which isn't the best, but then again I'm not picky. The torque on them is sad, doesn't take too much pressure to stop the platter, no CF adjustment, so the only scratching I can do is within the Headphone cue. That pretty much wraps it up, bringing us here. =P
