For spasma music is his first love, and what gives him a buzz is being able to share his music with others. Tuning into electronic music from an early age, Spasma used to buy Depeche Mode and DAF records, so he obviously loved electronic sounds without even realizing it. At early age he used to listen to mix tapes by Sanny X, Plaztic and other legendary pioneers in the Swedish club scène. But it was acid house that really turned Spasma on after a trip to Ibiza in 1989.
When an ordinary person is recognized at a young age for doing extraordinary things, it is easy to be misunderstood. Spasma a DJ in every sense of the word, may have fallen into that trap in the past, but now at 38 years young he will finally allow people to understand who the man behind the myth really is.
Spasmas music is deep, sexy and intelligent and works best afterhours, or in the middle or end of the sweaty dance floor. However Spasmas music is always underground, always twisted. Spasma leaves trails of memories, melodies and stories wherever he goes. From Rome to Tokyo, Ibiza to Singapore and Mumbai India.
These are the things that have been, and will continue to be remembered and passed on for years. And that is what legends are made of.
