akaPatTurner was born in Seattle Washington but grew up all around the world, mainly in Eastbourne and Canterbury England for schooling. In England, he was introduced to House, Jungle and Drum&Bass; getting his first taste of the buzzin' UK club scene at the tender age of 16. A few years later, while living in the Savannah Georgia area,from the mid to late 90's gave him a taste of a resurging rave scene that spread like wild fire through out the American south east to the sounds of Dj ICEY and AK1200. Frequent trips to NYC allowed him some serious foot stomping action at a few legendary hot spots like, 'SoundFactory' and 'Exit'. Jamming to live performances from greats such as 'Danny Tenaglia', 'Carl Cox' and 'Johnathan Peters'.
The real turning point was after arriving in Germany in 2000 to a buzzing Frankfurt scene, afectionatly known as FFM. He fell in love with the sounds of TerminalM and the legendary Cocoon, headed by the god-father of German electronic music "Sven Vath"! Club U60 (U60311) was the spot to be and DJ Rush, Chris Liebing, DJ Hell, Technasia etc seriously rocked the house. This was the catalyst that tipped the scales, and 'akaPatTurner'was born! He'd had enough of just being rocked, and aspired to be the one rocking the crowd; to try to give back similar experiences he had, thanks to the technical skill and passion of his favorit DJs. Naturally, akaPatTurner enjoys to travel and experience different people and cultures, when ever time and money permits. After listening, you'll find his style and flow is influenced by different genres to create modern electronic soul food for generations past, present and FUTURE.
akaPatTurner SPINS: Mostly Minimal house, however PatTurner likes to dabble in progressive house, electro and Deep Soulful house. Never the less, he does enjoy many different genres, to include HipHop, Salsa, garage, two step, Jungle, drum&Bass, alternative and some rock.

Mostly Private parties. Several times in Heidelberg (Die Muhle and Palmbraugasse). Nothing big as of yet but I hope to change that soon enough.
I spin different genres within electronic music, so don't be suprised to hear vocal house, progressive house, techno, electro, hard house, minimal or chill house. Sometimes I'll throw in a bit of Drum&Bass just for shits and giggles. I get down to them all.

Cake Walk Music Creator software (still learning to edit my compilations with it). Still debating on getting the Rane Serato scratch.
