Some of you may know that I left 3 years ago to start my own chat board. It was very hard work (and expensive with no sponsors), and trying to entice members to join was quite a task. It takes away your life (ask Dan). Nuff said about that.
I'm still DJing at the club, but I have 3 employees now, who take over the duties for me most of the time. I just installed a big light show, and set it up with ShowXpress Plus, so my guys only have to push 14 buttons with no DMX training... that's cool. Anyone with a "Plus" box for sale... call me.
I began using Virtual DJ (Steve Sharp turned me on to it) and I'll never go back... best program I ever bought. I initially bought it to run karaoke for my club gig (they have me do it once a year for a big group), but now I use it all the time for music. I'm still discovering little buttons that do cool things. The owners manual is an inch thick (really), and the program is very powerful! There's also 15 or so skins to choose from, each with it's own advantage.
