The veteran cornerback of the
Pittsburgh Steelers Ike Taylor is set to hit the free agent market once
free agency finally begins. Wearing Ike Taylor Steelers jersey, Taylor holds the belief that the Steelers must bring him back but they have to wait the settlement of the NFL lockout.
According to the release from the
Pittsburgh Tribune Review, the 31-year-old Taylor said, “I’m pretty sure
we’re on the page. We’are just got to wait for this lockout (to end).
The ball’s in their court.” This is after the workout with almost 20
players, including Steelers teammates James Farrior and Williams Gay.
Ike Taylor flashes ability on opposing teams’ best receivers and contributes on kickoff coverage as well. Wearing James Farrior Steelers jersey,
Farrior remarked, “Taylor had a spectacular season last year, probably
the best I’ve seen since I’ve been here. I know the Steelers are excited
to get him back, but with the lockout going on we just all have to
wait.” Now that they are certain about their promising future, they had
better get NFL jerseys from the NFL store to help them in the workouts to keep competitive, or something must change in the Steelers.
