Lions quarterback Shaun Hill, who is known for his toughness, wore Shaun Hill Jersey
and joined teammates in a players-organized workout Tuesday — only six
days after having back surgery. “It is kind of been bugging me for a
while, but last year I was able to get through the season,” Hill wore
Shaun Hill Custom NFL Jerseys
and told the Detroit Newspaper. “I had a little injection before the
season, and it helped me out and got me through it. This year, the
injection did not quite help, so I opted for the surgery.” Hill, who
wore Detroit Lions Jerseys and
started 10 games last season despite suffering a broken forearm and
finger, did some light throwing and jogging during the session with
about 35 teammates at a suburban high school. He anticipates he will be
fully recovered from the back surgery in four to six weeks. “It has been
great,” he wore Shaun Hill Jersey
and said. “I am six days post-op, and I am running a little bit. I
cannot throw extended stuff. The rotation, I do not want to overdo it
there. But I feel great. I am glad I did it. Wish I would have done it
earlier.” Starting quarterback Matthew Stafford, who missed all but
three games last year because of a shoulder injury, and backups Drew
Stanton and Zac Robinson also worked out Tuesday. The session included
full offensive sets and plays because so many offensive players
attended.
