On 13.08.2010. Split's riva (waterfront) happen to be a spectacle never seen before in Split.
Under the auspices Beck'spearance and the City of Split, on the coastal areas of the city known as Riva, for the first time the project "DISCOTEQUE RIVA" will become a reality.
This project will include the whole sea promenade at the foot of the walls of Diocletian's Palace (Split Riva) in length from 350 meters and width of 50 m. This area will become the biggest summer open space disco on the planet, from 22 to 04 h .
The first guest of this top music event on the Adriatic this year, is the world's most famous DJs, Carl Cox from London.
The walls of monuments of world cultural heritage of 1700 years old Diocletian's palace, the newly renovated waterfront with the perfect dance floor from techno concrete, benches surrounded by scented Mediterranean vegetation, with the stars and the sky above, make this area one of the most representative urban area. With lavish production which will further enhance this area, and exceptional guest, we are confident that the Discotheque Riva from this year will enter the world's top event destinations.
Carl Cox is by the renowned British magazine Mixmag named as the best and most famous DJ in the last 25 years. Therefore we believe he is the ideal for the beginning of this project.
At the popular price of tickets, a great date in the heart of the tourist season, a fantastic ambient, so far unprecedented production in Split and visit of the world's most popular DJ, is expected to be 20,000 to 30,000 visitors.
Since 13.8. is Summer prime time, we expect many tourists, and many sailing ships, yachts and other boats.
Due to great interest it is organized transportation from all Croatian regions.
