I'm trying, the scene in Bako is a little different, sadly. I'm trying to find a decent promoter around here for mah type of music! Got my name out to a few people online, just waiting to hear responses back on a few things. About to mass cover this town in my own promotion soon!
You have the right idea bro. I bet you will turn out being your own promoter and DJ. A combo package. Thats how I'm going about it because sometimes for me, its just to pricey to book a real solid DJ. So I now cover the planning, promotions and as soon as I find a deal on a DJ controller I will be in the mix to.
